My Story: From an 'Icky' List of 100 to a Marketing Revolution
If you’ve ever been told to make a list of 100 friends and family members to pitch to, you know the feeling. For me, that feeling was 'awkward' and a little bit 'icky.'
My journey in network marketing started when I was just 19 years old with a company called Home Interiors. Back then, it was all about home parties and that infamous list: people from work, from church, friends, family... anyone with a pulse, really. It always felt like I was just pitching a sales idea, not actually helping anyone.
I wanted more. I wanted to be helpful.
Over the years, I tried over 10 other companies, and the advice was always the same. 'Make a list of 100 people.' 'Leave your business card with the tip at a restaurant.' The tactics always left me feeling uncomfortable.
For a long time, I thought the problem was me. I felt like a failure. So, I tried switching products, thinking, 'If I just find the right product, then I'll finally be successful.' But product after product, I failed.
The 'Aha!' Moment That Changed Everything
After years of frustration, I realized something profound: The problem wasn't the product. And it wasn't me. It was the marketing.
That's when I understood what true success looks like.
Success isn't about selling a product. It's about helping others become successful.
That is why I created AI Hacks for Humans. These tools are designed to eliminate the 'icky' parts of marketing and give you a better way—a way to be the helpful expert, attract people to you, and grow your business with confidence.
